Microbial-Mediated Emissions of Greenhouse Gas from Farmland Soils: A Review

The greenhouse effect is one of the concerning environmental problems. Farmland soil an important source gases (GHG), which characterized by wide range ways to produce GHG, multiple influencing factors and complex regulatory measures. Therefore, reducing GHG emissions from farmland a hot topic for relevant researchers. This review systematically expounds on main pathways CO2, CH4 N2O; analyzes effects temperature, moisture, organic matter pH various soil; focuses microbial mechanisms under remediation modes, such as biochar addition, fertilizer straw return microalgal biofertilizer application. Finally, problems benefits modes are discussed. paper points out role microalgae in reduction soil, provides theoretical support realizing goal “carbon peaking carbon neutrality” agriculture.
